Moyo is a small island off the north coast of Sumbawa. There are no roads to speak of, no resorts lined up along the sand, and no crowd. Jatiphala sits on a quiet stretch of west-facing beach, a boat ride from the mainland. Tents under thatched roofs, sand between them, the sea a few steps away. The power comes from the sun. The evening entertainment is the sunset, which happens directly in front of you, over the reef.
